The Prediction of E-Money Card and QRIS Usage on Trans Banyumas Using a Quadratic Trend Equation

This research is motivated by the importance of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) and e-money cards for passengers of Trans Banyumas in Purwokerto. The goal of this research was to predict the trends of QRIS and e-money card usage on Trans Banyumas. The data used in this study were secondary data, collected from weekly e-money card and QRIS transaction records from the Trans Banyumas Raya office in Purwokerto. The data were analyzed using quadratic trend equation models. Based on the data analysis, the findings were as follows: (1) Using the quadratic trend model, the R² of e-money card transactions is 0.741, and for QRIS transactions, it is 0.419; (2) The MAPE value of e-money transactions is 26.84, which falls into the satisfactory category, while the MAPE value of QRIS transactions is 18.96, placing it in the good category; (3) The quadratic trend analysis for QRIS transactions is more accurate than for e-money transactions. In conclusion, this research shows a positive trend in the use of both e-money cards and QRIS transactions on Trans Banyumas.Downloads
